Chickasaw Plum

This plum has lovely white flowers in early spring. They are followed by small (1/2") inch fruit that ranges from slightly sweet to tart. The fruit is a lovely food source for both wildlife and people. It has a tendency to form a dense thicket when planted in more sun which provides a nice habitat for birds and wildlife. When placed in more shade it has a tendency to have less dense branching. At maturity plants will be 15 feet tall and wide.
